Faith Poynor of The Oakridge School will be reading her paper, "Shakespeare's Richard III: Deformed, Depraved," at the 2014 Richard III Colloquium


The Oakridge School is proud to announce that its very own Owl, Faith Poynor, will be presenting her paper, “Shakespeare’s Richard III: Deformed, Depraved,” at the 2014 Richard III Colloquium this March 21st. Way to go Faith!!

Faith Poynor is a senior at The Oakridge School. She is Literary Arts Editor of the Oakridge magazine, Calliope, which has published several of her original written works. She has a passion for writing and literature. Faith has many other interests as well. She has studied piano for eleven years and  is currently working towards earning her black belt in mixed martial arts. Faith also has a passion for theatre and performed in the Oakridge school production The Love of Three Oranges in the role of Brighella earlier this year. She enjoys community service and has served as a volunteer at the Arlington Museum of Art, Mission Arlington, and North Texas Food Bank for many years. Faith plans to major in English and minor in Music in college.
Faith will be reading her paper during Session A of Block Two, “The Humanity and Villainy of Richard III,” which will meet in the Black Box Theatre located in the upstairs part of the Fine Arts building.
