Emily Zhang of The Hockaday School will be presenting her paper, "Irrational Desires," at the 2014 Richard III Colloquium

The Oakridge School is excited to announce that The Hockaday School’s Emily Zhang will be presenting her paper, “Irrational Desires,” at the 2014 Richard III Colloquium this March 21st. Great job Emily!
Emily Zhang
The Hockaday School
Emily Zhang is a senior at The Hockaday school, where she has been attending school since the eighth grade.  Emily is also a National Merit Finalist and is excited to attend a university next year, hopefully somewhere colder than Texas (probably somewhere in the northeast).  She has an active interest in China and its culture and has attended several camps and competitions to that effect. Other interests include but are not limited to debate, writing, and watching British TV shows such as Sherlock and Doctor Who. She spends much of her time surfing the web, memorizing random facts, and occasionally reading and writing poetry. She would like to thank the Hockaday School for giving her a wonderful education and greatly improving her writing skills.
Emily will be reading her paper during Session C of Block One, “Staging and Performing Villainy in Richard III,” which will take place in the John P. Flavin Fine Arts Performance Hall.
